Partnerships
Open Civic Briefing considers collaborations that help readers explore public policy while keeping editorial work distinguishable from partner communication. Send a concise proposal through the Contact page and explain the subject, format and intended audience.
Formats we consider
Possibilities include clearly labelled partner articles, topic collections, event or learning-resource placements, and other relevant placements across the site. We consider each proposal on its fit with the publication's subject and readers. Inclusion is not guaranteed, and a placement should offer a clear reason for a reader to follow it.
Clear labels, separate decisions
Partner-supported or partner-created material is identified so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Labels describe the relationship plainly; they do not suggest that Open Civic Briefing has verified or endorsed every claim made by a partner. Partners do not choose the conclusions of editorial articles or receive control over correction decisions.
Make a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Briefly describe the organisation or project, the proposed format, the subject and what readers would encounter. Do not include confidential material or assume that a proposal will be accepted. Any agreed placement must be clearly labelled and suitable for this publication's policy-literacy focus.
